Around 8 years ago I embarked upon a career in digital marketing. Frantically discovering that I knew very little about most things in the marketing world, I absolutely had to learn more about consumer behaviour:
That’s when by accident I fell into SEO – I found it by chance rather than it finding me. I learnt that everything has a place in marketing.
All forms of digital advertising play a pivotal role on building a fuller picture of consumer behaviour. Each can be vital, each has risk attached to it but one forms the basis for all combined learnings and it also happens to be intricately entwined with something more mesmeric and mysterious than Einstein’s brain – Google Search.
So I got to work – I took what I knew about SEO, read more, studied more and started a try and test approach on websites I was working on. Gradually, I started to understand more, risks became educated risks, which in turn became successes. It wasn’t easy and I continue to learn more about SEO every single day.
So what's happened in the last 8 years?
Apart from a significant number of Google updates, a lot actually.
Building sites with beneficial value to consumers has driven organic search rankings to a whole new dimension. Simple optimisation techniques are a thing of the past and as we become sophisticated in our thinking, so too do search engines with their enhanced algorithmic calculations.
In other words, in order to become visible there is a lot of strategising and value that needs building out on your website to achieve organic success.
It's not easy, so I am here to help you get the best from your website.
